Mduduzi has generated the database of local projects that needs to be rolled out as to assist the local municipality in terms of its Local Economic Development. Since LED comes with different aspects, poverty alleviation strategies are also in place as they have drawn Department of Agriculture to work with them. Co-operatives are also in place as to boost the economic development.

That was witnessed during the 2015 KwaZulu-Natal Regional Colloquium of the South African Association of Political Studies (SAAPS) hosted by The Department of Politics & International Studies (POLIS) where he was presenting his paper on Corporate Social Responsibility and Community Development within uMhlathuze Municipality focusing on two mining companies.

Indeed, Mduduzi has a good story to tell about his journey of life as he is a BA Development Studies graduate works closely with Local Economic Development projects in the area. He showed passion when he championed the sponsorship and the construction of Silindokuhle Crèche in Matholonjeni reserve.
