Prof. King Costa is the co-founder of the Global Centre for Academic Research and Costa Research Institute. He is the Chancellor of AMADI University college based in Swaziland, while also holding the office of Pro-Vice Chancellor for South Valley University’s international students managed by GCAR. He is the author of the cloud-based COSTAQDA software, which provides simple intuitive approach to qualitative data analysis and appraisal of literature review.
He was the chairperson of the South African chapter of the 8th World Conference on Qualitative Research and is the founder of the Association of Research Methodologists. He has authored a number of papers, book chapters and teaching materials in Qualitative Evidence Synthesis and Mixed Methods Research. He is a member of the Editorial Board of New Trends in Qualitative Research –A Scielo and Scopus indexed international journal. He is also an Editor in Chief of the Journal of Research Methodologists, which is indexed on Crossref and Google Scholar. As an Artificial Intelligence expert, he is a member of the Artificial Intelligence Forum for Developing Countries (AIFOD), based in Switzerland.
